Gauff, Paolini, Navarro, Andreeva, Sakkari, Muchova - Change on every level of the WTA rankings!

Gauff, Paolini, Navarro, Andreeva, Sakkari, Muchova - Change on every level of the WTA rankings!

As on the men's side, the Roland Garros tournament created a number of changes in the WTA rankings published on Monday. While Iga Swiatek still dominates women's tennis with a master's hand, there's a lot going on behind her. Ravaged by a gastric virus, Sabalenka lost in the quarter-finals of the French Open, where Gauff reached the semi-finals. As a result, the American is now ahead of the Belarusian in the rankings (2nd, +1 place).

There have been several major changes, both upwards and downwards. Jasmine Paolini, the tournament's magnificent runner-up, moves into the top 10 like a cannonball, and is now 7th (+8 places). Within the top 10, Sakkari and Jabeur, 9th and 10th respectively, are not far off the pace. At 17, Mirra Andreeva, a semi-finalist in the event, continues her lightning rise to 23rd this week (+15 places). This week's big loser is Karolina Muchova. Last year's finalist, she was unable to compete in Paris (right wrist injury) and therefore dropped 19 places to 35th (-1200 pts).

Last but not least, there were a few interesting developments. Emma Navarro has moved up to 17th in the world (+7 places), while Victoria Azarenka is back in the world top 20 at 19th, her best ranking this season (+2 places).

It was a fantastic match and Grigor played extremely good at the time but the force that turned the match was very visual and spelled Nadal. Winning over Rafa in a slam has proven a near impossible ta

Not that he was facing that stiff of competition, but after winning Eastbourne I wonder if Fritz, seeded 13th, actually has a better chance at going deep into W than 4th seed Zverev.

Berrettini is 5% of the old Berrettini from a few years ago. Anyone saying that Sinner got a hard draw is wrong. Berrettini may not even play against Sinner
