Rybakina inflicts Swiatek's first ever defeat in Stuttgart!

Iga Swiatek had never lost a match on Stuttgart's indoor clay court (10 wins in 10 matches). Now she has. The world No.1, winner of the last 2 editions of the tournament, has just lost in the semi-finals. She bowed out after a superb battle with Elena Rybakina.

The Kazakh won in 2 hours 48 minutes and 3 sets (6-3, 4-6, 6-3). In Sunday's final, she will face either Marta Kostyuk or Marketa Vondrousova.

Jiri has previously beaten fritz, felix and rublev (twice) so he has a good chance of winning the Madrid open

A few days ago...I wouldn't have given Jiri a chance at the title. Now, his chances are as good as Ruby, Fritz and/or Felix's, if not better. He's got the goods.
