Swiatek far too strong for France's Jeanjean at Roland-Garros

Swiatek far too strong for France's Jeanjean at Roland-Garros

As is often the case, Iga Swiatek didn't spend too long on Court Philippe Chatrier to get through the first round of this 2024 edition of the French Open. The world n°1 made short work of French qualifier Leolia Jeanjean, winning in just one hour and two short sets (6-1, 6-2). All of this, perhaps, to make way more quickly for the day's clash between Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev.

Another clash is on the cards, as the Polish player, two-time title-holder, will take on Japan's Naomi Osaka, former world No.1 and back this year after giving birth to her daughter.

Everyone will have there GOAT. Mine will always be Nadal. So glad I had the opportunity to watch him for almost his entire career

She really has a chance here, but needs her first serve % to remain high, otherwise I could see this flipping
