Unbelievable, Djokovic is going to play in Geneva!

Unbelievable, Djokovic is going to play in Geneva!

The Geneva tournament has pulled off quite a coup, with Novak Djokovic surprising everyone by playing in Switzerland.

Although the Serb is not accustomed to playing competitively in the week leading up to a Grand Slam, it seems he thought it best to pick up a few extra matches before Paris. In view of his extremely disappointing 2024 season (11 wins, 5 losses, no titles and no finals), the world number 1 accepted the wild-card offered by the Geneva tournament.

Nole's objective seems clear: to reassure himself after the slap he suffered at the hands of Tabilo in Rome, and above all not to come to Paris without a title, something he hasn't done since 2006.

In Switzerland, he won't start until Tuesday or Wednesday and will only be able to play a maximum of 4 matches. At the same time, he joins an already strong field for an ATP 250, with Casper Ruud, Taylor Fritz, Sebastian Baez, Andy Murray, Ben Shelton and Denis Shapovalov also taking part.

Maybe.....everything is possible. Who knows which Novak will show up on court. The only thing that we can be 100% sure .......The GOAT will still remain The GOAT, regardless of this match outcome.
