5 French men and women were involved in the final qualifying round of the Australian Open on Thursday.
Unfortunately, they didn't shine, as only Léolia Jeanjean managed to qualify against another Frenchwoman, Sélena Janicijevic.
On the men's side, Clément Chidekh lost to Hady Habib 6-4, 3-6, 7-6. Térence Atmane lost to Lukas Klein 6-4, 6-1.
On the women's side, Carole Monnet lost to Tamara Zidansek 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.
Léolia Jeanjean, the only French survivor, will have to wait until the end of qualifying to find out which player she will face in the first round of the Australian Open.
