Since launching his podcast, Andy Roddick has frequently spoken out on a wide range of subjects. On the latest episode of his podcast, the former world No. 1 spoke about his career and, in particular, one of his former rivals: Lleyton Hewitt.
Referring to one of his opponents with whom he had the least contact during their respective careers, he declared: "Everything's fine now... I think mutual respect wins out in the end. But we've had a lot of difficult moments, with someone who is probably the best competitor I've ever faced.
In his professional life, he's never had the best shot on court, whether in terms of rhythm, speed or spin, and yet he's become number 1 and won two Grand Slams. That's Lleyton Hewitt."
