Sabalenka fearful of contamination risks: "I don't see how I can trust the system".

Before the start of the WTA 1000 in Dubai, Aryna Sabalenka spoke about Jannik Sinner's suspension and the workings of anti-doping institutions.

The world No. 1 spoke of her "fear" of contamination and the precautions she is now taking:

"We're starting to be more careful. For example, before, I didn't worry about going to the toilet in a restaurant and leaving my glass of water on the table.

But now, I don't drink from the same glass.

You become a little too aware of things and they get into your head. For example, if someone used a cream on us and it tested positive, they're not going to believe us.

You become too scared of the system. I don't see how I can trust the system."
