Djokovic ready to pay the price for his boycott: "If you want to fine me, go ahead".

Djokovic ready to pay the price for his boycott: If you want to fine me, go ahead.

After leaving Rod Laver Arena without taking part in the post-match interview, Novak Djokovic had a chat with Australian Open director Craig Tiley.

Journalists' cameras were able to film the two men discussing the situation, but it was at the press conference that the Serb revealed the exchange he had with Tiley:

"I told him: 'If you want to fine me for not giving the interview on court, go ahead, it's ok'.

I'll accept it because I feel it's something that has to be done. That's all there is to it."

For the moment, no financial penalty has been mentioned by the tournament management, but the case obviously remains to be followed.

Typical behaviour. He thinks the world revolves around him. He knows the way things are supposed to be done but no not Novak. Fineing him won’t make an ounce of difference to him, that’s like a drop in the ocean. He need to be banned/removed from tournament. He’s no more special than any other player out there.

He must follow the rules if he's not, then why for he still there, he feels that his different, his still a tennis player not owned any tennis tournament in the world, and even though why acts like that, he doesn't respect the way to be. Not all about money and respect must be intact.

O, but he is special!

He is the most special tennis player, he is the GREATEST of all time.

But, before you mention banning, you and Tony Jones should learn the meaning of RESPECT.
