Australian Open: Zverev and Sabalenka headline Sunday's action

The Australian Open now plays its first round on three different days, as does the French Open.

However, it's well known that star players don't necessarily like to start on a Sunday, and often prefer to play their first match on Monday or Tuesday.

To kick off this 2025 edition in Melbourne, 32 matches will be played on Sunday, including the match between Alexander Zverev (No.2 seed) and Lucas Pouille, and the debut of world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka against Sloane Stephens.

Ruud - Munar, Humbert - Gigante, Virtanen - Fils and Nishikori - Monteiro are the matches to watch on the men's side. On the women's side, Bouzkova - Andreeva, Badosa - Wang and Parry - Vekic will all be in action.

You can see the full list of matches to be played on Sunday below.
