Chilean Tennis Federation appeals Bergs-Garin case and postpones Davis Cup draw

The soap opera between the Chilean Tennis Federation and the ITF continues.

As a reminder, Zizou Bergs unintentionally collided with Cristian Garin during their Davis Cup match.

The Chilean refused to resume the match. Unfortunately for him and his federation, they never won their case.

The Chilean Tennis Federation therefore decided to appeal on Thursday, denouncing serious irregularities in the case.

Both the match referee and the doctor were found to have violated established medical protocols.

Following this appeal, the Davis Cup draw, scheduled for this Thursday, has been postponed to a later date.
