Bublik uses a movie reference to describe Sinner's doping case: "Accidents aren't accidents."

Bublik uses a movie reference to describe Sinner's doping case: Accidents aren't accidents.

Yesterday, Alexander Bublik gave an interview to Russian media outlet Match.tv in which he let loose on Nadal's career ending and the new collaboration between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

In the last part of the interview, the Kazakh also gave his opinion on the recent doping scandals that have shaken the tennis world, particularly the one involving Jannik Sinner.

As whimsical a character on and off the court, Bublik responded with a reference to the animated film Kung Fu Panda: "In the film, Master Oogway says: 'Accidents are not accidents'. I'll answer that way.

I think accidents are not accidental. I can quote other proverbs: 'There's no smoke without fire' or 'A thief's hat is on fire' (a proverb used in Russia)."

However, the 33rd in the world doesn't share Nick Kyrgios's statements against Sinner:

"If you take all of Nick's words, analyze them and draw conclusions, you can go crazy. I probably don't agree with what he said."
