Binaghi, President of the Italian Tennis Federation: "Yet another recognition for Italian tennis".

The news came at the same time as the draw for the first round of the Davis Cup 2025.

Italy, two-time defending champion of the competition, will host the final phase of this prestigious trophy from 2025 to 2027.

Bologna will be the first host city in November next year.
Angelo Binaghi, President of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation (FITP), is delighted with this decision: "The year 2024 ends with the icing on the cake, a final and umpteenth recognition for Italian tennis.

After a year of memorable and historic triumphs, the ITF has entrusted the FITP with the organization of the next Davis Cup finals for three years", he explained on the FITP website.

"This decision follows the four-year agreement to broadcast the two most important team competitions for the nations on SuperTennis.

We can only be delighted and proud. All Italian fans will now be able to follow our sport live and free of charge on television.

Our aim is, in fact, to make tennis increasingly popular and to ensure that the visibility of our champions' exploits is not restricted in any way," concludes Binaghi.
