Dimitrov at the end of his rope but victorious against Rinderknech in Paris

Grigor Dimitrov had to go all the way to reach the quarter-finals of the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000. Slightly injured in the adductor muscles, the Bulgarian defeated Arthur Rinderknech after a two-hour battle (6-2, 4-6, 7-6) in a match that ended just after midnight (French time).
Dimitrov's face was marked by effort at the end of the match. And his timid celebration spoke volumes about the physical discomfort he was in (see video below).
Thanks to this victory, the Bulgarian remains in contention to qualify for the ATP Finals in Turin. But it's not going to be easy, as he'll have to overcome his fatigue and aches and pains to beat an in-form Karen Khachanov.
