Le n°3 mondial a donc remporté le combat physique qui s'annonçait. Victime de crampes en début de 3e acte après 2 sets très intenses, l'Espagnol n'a jamais récupéré. Le Serbe a donc pu conclure sans frayeur en 3h23 et 4 manches.
