Carlos Alcaraz has been another player since the Davis Cup.
After a very difficult period at the end of the summer, the Spaniard seems to have perfectly overcome the disappointment of the US Open (swept aside in the second round by Van de Zandschulp).
Facing Daniil Medvedev on Tuesday, the Spanish prodigy played a match of the highest level.
Excellent in all areas of the game, he perfectly mastered a Medvedev who was having a good day (7-5, 6-3).
Uncompromising on important points and maintaining a high level of intensity throughout the match, the native of El Palmar qualified for the final with great authority.
He now awaits Jannik Sinner in the final, unless the world number 1 misses out against Bu.
