Roberto Bautista Agut is timeless.
In the midst of a very difficult year that saw him expelled from the world's top 100 (ranked 122nd in June), the veteran Spaniard is breathing new life into the end of his career.
Now back in 60th place in the world, he is enjoying a fine tournament at the ATP 250 in Antwerp.
Notably defeating Etcheverry (7-6, 6-4) and Auger-Aliassime (3-6, 6-2, 7-6), he held his own perfectly on Saturday.
Bautista Agut simply proved too strong for the Frenchman, who is now through to the final.
He will now have to overcome the winner of the match between Jiri Lehecka and Marcos Giron in the final if he is to claim the title.
