Cincinnati Masters 1000 unveils new 14-day format

The management of the Cincinnati Masters 1000 has announced the schedule for the 2025 edition of the tournament, which will now take place over fourteen days rather than the previous nine.

The event kicks off on Tuesday August 5 with qualifying and runs until Monday August 18 with the finals of the men's and women's tables.

The main draw will be increased from 56 to 96 players, while the qualifiers will now allow 12 players to secure a ticket for the rest of the competition.

The men's and women's draw will feature 32 seeds (similar to a Grand Slam), all of whom will benefit from a bye in the 1st round.
