Dimitrov impresses on his comeback

It's safe to say that Grigor Dimitrov is back.

Injured at Wimbledon, the Bulgarian was forced to withdraw from the Olympic Games and had not been seen in competition since London.

Far from being hesitant, Dimitrov shone, winning in just over 50 minutes (6-1, 6-0).

After a successful start to the season, the world number 10 had slowed down a little, disappointing at Queen's and then suffering an injury at Wimbledon.

Clearly, he's back on track and looks ready for the end of the season, a time of year which generally suits him very well.

Against the qualified Hijikita, Dimitrov missed almost nothing.

Excellent on serve, effective in all areas of the game, he simply gave his opponent a tennis lesson on his comeback.

For a place in the quarter-finals, he will face Alexei Popyrin.
