Djokovic takes advantage of Musetti's lackadaisical approach to take the lead!
It's the clash of the day on the clay courts of Roland-Garros.
Highly anticipated, this Olympic Games semi-final lives up to all its promises.
In a high-level match in which Djokovic and Musetti went head-to-head, it was finally the Serb's experience that won the first set after more than an hour of duel (6-4 in 1h04).
Clearly anything but knee troubled, Djokovic produced a very good match. More diligent than ever, "Nole" missed almost nothing. Opposite him, the Italian was on top form, playing his best tennis.
In the end, it was by taking advantage of a Transalpine cracking at the worst possible moment that Djokovic took control and is now just one set away from his first Olympic final.
Buoyed by a very good but tense level of play, Djokovic clung to his dream.
Will he join Alcaraz in the final? The answer in a few minutes or hours...
