Escudé on Moïse Kouamé: "Don't get carried away".
Nicolas Escudé reflects on Moïse Kouamé's performance at the Brest challenger, winning his first professional match at the age of 15 years and 7 months.
After making it through the 1st round of qualifying at the Brest Challenger last week, beating world No. 222 Denis Yevseyev, Moïse Kouamé caused a sensation.
Nicolas Escudé, former technical director of the FFT, urged caution when speaking to Eurosport: "We've had a slew of young players ahead of their time. We need to take things one step at a time, and above all not rush things.
It's not even the beginning of something big. We're going to have to keep moving forward, keep progressing and, above all, not get carried away."
