France - Chidekh, a promising young talent?
In the shadow of the spotlight, Clément Chidekh enjoyed a meteoric rise in 2024. At just 23 years of age, he has won a string of 30 tournaments this season, including his first Challenger Tour title in Glasgow.
Ranked 572nd in February, he climbed the ranks at an impressive rate to finish the year ranked 191st ATP. This spectacular leap opens the door to a new challenge: his first appearance at the Australian Open next January.
Interviewed by Tennis Actu, the Tricolore talked about his objectives for the 2025 season: "My first objective will be to stay healthy.
Right now, I know my level and I've been able to get a ranking in line with my level. I hope to be able to continue at this pace and have another good year.
My hopes and expectations are four Grand Slam qualifiers. The Top 100 isn't an immediate objective, but it would be nice to confirm and reach the Top 150, so that I can go and find a few top seeds in the Challengers to take things to the next level.
