Gauff: "Sometimes I deliberately read negative comments to use them as motivation"
Cori Gauff, author of a very fine 2024 season including a title at the WTA Finals, explains how she resources herself during the off-season.
She says: "I like to do nothing. Sometimes I feel that even taking care of myself is too much work. What I want is to do nothing, sit and rot, literally.

The American reveals an amazing thing about social networks and negative comments: "It's something a lot of people can relate to; most of them have seen how trolls on the Internet or many people in their workplace don't believe in them.
Sometimes I deliberately read the negative comments to encourage myself and use them as motivation to prove them wrong."
