Humbert: "I'm a bit sad, Paris-Bercy is the best atmosphere of the season".

Ugo Humbert takes on Brandon Nakashima this Monday in his first match at Paris-Bercy. The Frenchman is delighted to be back with the French public and the Accor Arena, but at the same time a little melancholy at the idea that this is the last time he'll be able to play in the stadium he loves so much. From 2025, the Paris tournament will move to the Paris La Défense Arena.

Ugo Humbert: "If there's one tournament I wanted to win, it's the one in Metz (his hometown). But now it's done (he won the Moselle Open in 2023), so from now on it's Bercy, because I've seen the best win here, like Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. He won when I was a kid (2008).

It's a very special tournament. It's the best atmosphere I've had all year, because the French fans are so hot. And the fact that it's indoors, you know, when I played Zverev last year, it was the best experience I've had on court in terms of atmosphere. It was incredible.
