Humbert tames Popyrin, decisive double to come between Australia and France!

Up against an in-form Alexei Popyrin, the left-hander largely dominated proceedings, winning in two short sets (6-3, 6-2).

A strong player, he is now back in the game for France.

Now it's all down to doubles. For the Tricolores, the opposing pair, Matthew Ebden, Olympic champion in July, and Max Purcell, recent winner of the US Open, are a real scarecrow.
