Humbert: "There's always fear when I step on the court".

Ugo Humbert experienced strong emotions this Saturday on the Centre Court of the Accor Arena in the semi-finals of the Rolex Paris Masters. Nothing unusual, as he explained to us after the match, simply more intense than usual.

The Frenchman spoke frankly about his feelings on the court, and his relationship with the stress and fear that the pressure of the event brings.

Ugo Humbert: "Every match, as soon as I step on the court, there's bound to be stress and fear. Afterwards, I try, with my courage and determination, to get the better of it.

And that's why, at important moments, I've managed to hit some exceptional shots and come through. I really play with my heart, I let myself go with my madness, with my desires on the court, and that's what's very, very good."
