Maylin on Sinner and Alcaraz: "I'm more impressed by what Sinner can do".

Maylin on Sinner and Alcaraz: I'm more impressed by what Sinner can do.

A well-known tennis observer, Benoit Maylin recently returned to the frequent comparison made between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.

In his opinion, the world number 1's achievements are even more impressive: "I'm more impressed by what Sinner can do than by what Alcaraz can do.

I have the impression that for Alcaraz, all the gods of the universe have fallen on his head. He's got it all.

Not Sinner. When you see him arrive on the circuit, you think he's going to have trouble with his monolithic tennis.

The progress he's been able to make, he's bubbling like everyone else inside.

You have to be able to keep your wits about you, with all the other stories he has to deal with.

And the guy, he doesn't move an ear and he still manages to be number 1 in the world with that bib.

They all tell you: you're number 1, everyone wants to take you down. It's normal, you're the target.

You've got to hold on to that position, and he's got it!"

Well known but clearly not a very good tennis observer 🤣🤣🤣 Alcaraz clearly has a more designed and decorated game and physicality with a positive H2H and more slams to show for it.
