Mouratoglou on Kyrgios: "He's a nice guy, loyal, natural"
Nick Kyrgios never leaves anyone indifferent.
A true tennis prodigy, the Australian is capable of both the best and the worst, and has a tendency to divide the public.
A true showman, he is eagerly awaited wherever he plays. Injured quite seriously in 2022, the whimsical 29-year-old is trying to make a comeback.
Present at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) in New York, Kyrgios left no one indifferent, least of all Patrick Mouratoglou, who told L'Équipe: "He's a nice guy, loyal, natural, far from the image he had before.
With him, there's bound to be a 'wow' effect. Some people have more accomplished careers, but we don't want to see them play as much.
He takes up space, like Serena (Williams), Sharapova or Osaka. When they come onto a court, they're all you see."
