The rivalry between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner is still in its infancy, yet it's already exciting the crowds.

Between the world's No. 1 Italian and a Spaniard who has already won four Grand Slam titles, it's hard to say who will be the most successful.

When interviewed by our Italian colleagues at Gazetta dello Sport, Rod Laver, a true tennis legend, admitted that he found it hard to say.

In his opinion, what is certain is that both are destined to shine: "Jannik Sinner is currently world number 1, and has won a Grand Slam. For such a young player, he's got a consistent game, and he's going to keep growing and improving, because that's what he wants.

It's hard to say who will be more successful, him or Alcaraz. It's a very fresh rivalry. Carlos has shown great mental strength, while Jannik is more sober and very calm. They'll be the two symbols of this new era in tennis."
