Shelton is ready for battle: "Go, go!"

Ben Shelton is not having a great Wimbledon. World No. 14 this week, the American has been very hesitant since the start of the tournament, needing to play 5 sets in each of his matches to get through.

Shelton's stuttering form nevertheless saw him through to the last 16, where he defeated Denis Shapovalov in the 3rd round in 5 sets and 2 days (6-7, 6-2, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2).

However, nothing is certain for the 21-year-old. A huge challenge awaits him in the next round, where he will meet the world's No. 1 player, Jannik Sinner.

Even though he's largely an outsider, especially given his very shaky start to the tournament, he's not losing heart and is ready for battle: "I'm happy with what I've achieved so far, but I'm certainly not satisfied. The pinnacle of tennis is to play against the world number 1 at Wimbledon, probably on Centre Court.
