The area of the game that Sinner fine-tuned before the Masters
Jannik Sinner, who arrived in Turin yesterday ahead of the start of the ATP Finals, will be starting out as the favorite in front of his home crowd.
Having missed out on Paris due to a virus, the Italian has had time to recuperate and perfect his preparation for the Masters in Monte-Carlo, where he lives. Already seen testing new rackets two weeks ago, the world No.1 has this time called on a former player to join his team for a few days.
It was Radek Stepanek, with whom Sinner shared several training sessions. And the aim was simple: to work on his volleying, which remains one of the areas where he still has room for improvement.
However, it remains to be seen whether this collaboration with the former world No. 8 will continue in the coming weeks.
