The Davis Cup finals will now be played in Italy!

Ahead of today's draw for the first round of the 2025 edition of the Davis Cup, the host country for the final phase has already been revealed.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, two-time defending champion Italy will have the honor of hosting the final phase of the event until 2030, alternating between three different cities: Bologna, Turin and Milan.

Bologna will be the first city to host the finals in 2025.

As the Italian media reports, the influence of Italy's victories in the competition and the confirmation of Jannik Sinner's status as world No. 1 probably played a part in the ITF's decision.

Italy, which was already the highlight of the end-of-season men's tennis season with the Turin Masters, will now also be in the spotlight with the Davis Cup.
