The Davis Cup finals kick off tomorrow in Malaga with the first quarter-final between Spain and the Netherlands.

This match will have a special dimension, as it could be Rafael Nadal's last appearance in official competition.

At the press conference, captain Paul Haarhuis assured the audience that his team would be going out on to the court with ambition: "It's incredible that this could be Nadal's last match. And we hope to give him a nice adios.

This is the Davis Cup, anything can happen. We want more than a quarter-final, so we're going to have to play well."

Tallon Griekspoor, Dutch No.1, expressed his eagerness to play this match: "It's a special moment for everyone, but for us too to play Alcaraz and Nadal in Malaga.

I can imagine the atmosphere will be crazy. I think it's going to be an incredible day and I hope we can get a good result against them."
