The Sinner case is relaunched, the World Anti-Doping Agency appeals!

This is very bad news for Jannik Sinner.

Tested positive on two occasions in March, but finally cleared by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), the world number 1 logically thought he was out of the woods.

However, the story is far from over, as the World Anti-Doping Agency has decided to appeal.

In a rather worrying statement for the Italian player, they explain: "WADA believes that the finding of no fault or negligence was not correct under the applicable rules.

WADA requests a period of suspension of one to two years.

WADA is not requesting a cancellation of results, with the exception of that already imposed by the court of first instance."
