Tiafoe: "That's about all I have to say".
Frances Tiafoe gets his tennis back.
After an excellent tournament in Cincinnati, the American was only stopped in the final by an excellent Jannik Sinner (7-6, 6-2).
Now back in the world's top 20, Tiafoe is hoping to capitalize on this new-found confidence to achieve great things at the US Open, his main objective for the season.
Questioned in the press conference, he was logically asked about the recent Sinner affair.
And to say the least, he didn't dwell on the issue, simply declaring: "Obviously, he's an incredible player and, you know, the authorities have made a decision. He's allowed to play.
That's about all I have to say on the subject.
I wish him all the best for the US Open, and I'm looking forward to playing my own role at the US Open."
