Ahead of the Davis Cup meeting between Spain and the Netherlands, Botic Van de Zandschulp had this to say: "Against Spain, it's going to be fantastic.
They're playing at home and Rafa's retirement makes this duel even more special. I could be the last one to beat him.
However, I try not to think about him, because I'd go crazy. I really want to face him for the third and last time. He was my idol and I used to watch his matches on TV.
Of course, you always want to beat a great player, but to face him is something unique."
After beating Carlos Alcaraz at the US Open, the Dutchman could add another big name to his list of great players.
