In Malaga, the BJK Cup has been delayed by one day and will start this Thursday. The reason for this is the flooding that has hit the Spanish city, causing concern among tournament organizers.

American player Taylor Townsend shared a video (see below) on her Instagram account, showing the arrival of the water: "We're in Málaga, for the BJK Cup. The city center is flooded, and the water is coming into my room."

Spain's number 1 Paula Badosa, meanwhile, has declared that she will donate 50% of her winnings from the tournament to those affected by the DANA storm, responsible for the flooding in Spain.
