Novak Djokovic, who ended his season earlier than in previous years by withdrawing from Paris and Turin, will still be well placed to play in the Australian Open.
Alex De Minaur's loss to Taylor Fritz at the Masters this afternoon confirmed that the Serb will be among the top eight seeds for the next Australian Open.
A godsend for the former world No. 1, who has played a total of just 37 matches this season.
A ten-time winner in Melbourne, Novak Djokovic will therefore be able to approach this first Grand Slam of 2025 with a draw that should be favorable to him at least until the quarter-finals.
