Zverev acknowledges his poor form: "The last few months haven't been the best".

After a very solid first half of the season, Alexander Zverev has gradually fallen off the pace, with disappointing results in recent weeks.

Ahead of the Paris Bercy Masters 1000, the German admitted to beIN Sports that he was in a difficult situation: "The last few months haven't been the best for me.

The first six months were excellent, with a Grand Slam final, a Masters 1000 victory and lots of matches won. Everything was going well.

Then I had an injury at Wimbledon and health problems. I wasn't playing well. I wasn't feeling well either. I had a bout of fatigue.

But I hope to bounce back and play my best tennis in the last two tournaments of the season.
