Draper beats Alcaraz:

Draper beats Alcaraz: "I've done it!

Jack Draper has made a monumental start to the grass-court season. In 7 matches, the 22-year-old has simply not lost. After a magnificent final against Berrettini in Stuttgart (3-6, 7-6, 6-4), he continues to impress.

Entering the Queen's tournament this week, he looks as invulnerable as ever. After an easy first-round win (6-3, 6-2 over Navone), he pulled off the feat of the week by upsetting the world number 2 and London title-holder: Carlos Alcaraz.

Playing a full match, he took advantage of his opponent's lack of rhythm on grass to qualify for the quarter-finals (7-6, 6-3 in 1h39).

Interviewed after his victory, the Briton made no secret of his delight, while paying tribute to his victim of the day: "It was a very tough match. I knew that Carlos was the defending champion, that he'd won Wimbledon last year. The challenge was there.

He's an incredible talent and an inspiration to the sport. I had to come and play really well. Fortunately, that's what I did today, I succeeded, I played my best tennis."

He will not even make it past the quarterfinals. Then he will blame the injury he felt so food about. 😅🤣😂
