Fritz: "A dream to do this on Centre Court at Wimbledon".
Taylor Fritz pulled off a magnificent turnaround to beat Alexander Zverev and qualify for the Wimbledon quarter-finals. Despite playing some excellent tennis, the American found himself down 2 sets to 0 to the German, but he kept believing in his ability to win, and eventually did so after three and a half hours of play (4-6, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 6-3).
Taylor Fritz: "It's fantastic to have done that on Centre Court at Wimbledon. To be down two sets and come back to win, it's just... a dream.
I had the feeling I was playing really well, even though I was two sets down. So I told myself to keep playing like that, try to win the 3rd and take it one set at a time.
I kept believing. Even though I'd lost the first two sets, I felt that I was playing very well and that the difference had only been made on a few points here and there. I felt I could turn things around."
