Gauff in experimentation:

Gauff in experimentation: "Finding the right mix against Swiatek".

Coco Gauff is not the favorite to face Iga Swiatek this Thursday afternoon in the first women's semi-final of the French Open. The American is well aware of this, having only beaten the world No.1 once in 11 meetings. But she is still convinced that she can find a way through the Pole's impressive tennis.

Coco Gauff: "I think I'll have to find a better way of playing against her (Iga Swiatek) than the last few times I played her on clay. Because it's obvious that I haven't had much success the last few times we've played each other, regardless of the surface (she's still on a run of 3 consecutive defeats without winning a single set).

She's a tough opponent for me and for everyone. So I'll have to look back over the last few matches to find out what I need to do. She plays great tennis here, so it's going to be a challenge.

But I'm going into the match firmly believing I can do it. Trying to have a plan with my team and my own plan. Then seeing how we can mix it up."

Andy, surely thinking about your future health & family is more important than trying to play at another tournament, whether it's the Olympics or another ATP tournament. I realise that as a sportsman

Wimbledon should have waited a couple of weeks. Billy might not have needed the wildcard after all.
