Queen's to make a comeback on the WTA Tour!

Queen's to make a comeback on the WTA Tour!

It's a small event that is sure to delight a large number of tennis fans. The Queen's tournament, the highlight of the grass-court season and traditionally reserved for men, is set to return to the circuit. Absent from the WTA circuit since 1973, the tournament will mark the end of a 50-year hiatus.

This calendar change had been requested for many years, as many fans felt it unfair that such a prestigious event should be reserved for men only. As a reminder, the ATP 500 is considered by most specialists to be the 2nd most important tournament of the grass-court season, after Wimbledon. Indeed, played in London, it is the ideal tournament to prepare for the London Grand Slam.

This special status for men will come to an end with effect from the 2025 season. The only drawback is that the tournament still lacks the capacity to host both men's and women's draws in the same week. The women's tournament will be held just after the French Open (June 9 to 15, 2025), while the ATP event will be played on the same dates, the following week (June 16 to 22, 2025).
As a result, the women's draw could be less glamorous than the men's, since recovery time will be reduced.

He needs more variety in his play in my opinion, all I see him do is hit hard and when that doesn't work he gets mad with himself.

Maybe.....everything is possible. Who knows which Novak will show up on court. The only thing that we can be 100% sure .......The GOAT will still remain The GOAT, regardless of this match outcome.
