Kalinskaya retires in the 2nd set, Rybakina in the quarters at Wimbledon

Injured Anna Kalinskaya gave up early in the 2nd set (6-3, 3-0) to Elena Rybakina in the last 16 of Wimbledon on Monday. The support of her world No.1 boyfriend, Jannik Sinner, who was present in the stands (see video below), wasn't enough to change things for the world No.18.

Apparently suffering from a right-arm injury, the Russian was hampered on serve, where she lacked her usual power. She left the court in tears (see video below).

Rybakina will now play in the quarter-finals for the third year running at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. She will face either Elena Svitolina or Xinyu Wang.
