Ruud makes it three in a row in Geneva!

Ruud makes it three in a row in Geneva!

As he did in 2021 and 2022, Casper Ruud made sure of his place at the best of times. Having won the title in Geneva after a well-executed final, he'll be arriving in Paris with the Swiss trophy in his suitcase. The Norwegian played a serious tournament and didn't need to do much to win. Winning in two sets, he played his most consistent match in the final (7-5, 6-3), much to the dismay of Tomas Machac, Djokovic's semi-final loser.

Having come to Switzerland to restore his confidence, the 25-year-old got what he came for. Although he played with the handbrake on, seeking to save himself for Roland Garros, his margin over most of his opponents, particularly on clay, enabled him to go all the way. With two wins in a row on the same day, Ruud showed his mastery of the surface to bring down all his opponents with heavy shots.

As a result, he will arrive at Porte d'Auteuil with many guarantees, and will undoubtedly be one of the players to watch at this Roland Garros. Given the open nature of the tournament, the world No. 7 is not to be taken lightly, and could well surprise the world.

In any case, he'll need to get off to a good start against Meligeni Alves (136th and a qualifier), before perhaps meeting Djokovic in the quarter-finals.

The person who write this article is completely incorrect, or simply ignorant to write the statement "Jannik Sinner is all about himself". Is the writer for real? Jannik is the most decent, humble and
