Sinner returns to the Wimbledon quarters!

Jannik Sinner qualified on Sunday, beating American Ben Shelton in 3 sets (6-2, 6-4, 7-6).

Solid throughout the match, he won his service games with authority. He controlled the first two sets perfectly against an opponent not at his best. It was in the third set that the match really began to heat up.

The Italian had to work hard to ward off 4 set points, including three in the tie-break.

The world number 1 will now face the winner of the match between Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov and Russia's Danill Medvedev.

A tough opponent for the Italian nugget!
