Sinner eases into the last 16 at Wimbledon

After a very complicated second round against an excellent Matteo Berrettini, Jannik Sinner had a much calmer third round against Miomir Kecmanovic. The world No.1 put in a very solid performance (35 winners against 15 unforced errors) to win in three short sets (6-1, 6-4, 6-2) and just over an hour and a half on Centre Court grass.

The Italian will now face the winner of the match between Ben Shelton and Denis Shapovalov, which has been postponed until Saturday due to the rain that drenched the All England Lawn Tennis Club on Friday, in a bid to secure a place in the quarter-finals.
