Sinner withdraws from Madrid!

Sinner withdraws from Madrid!

We could feel it coming. Jannik Sinner, who has been struggling with a hip problem for the past two matches, won't be taking to the court on Thursday. The Madrid tournament has just made the news official on its social networks. The Italian is probably looking to preserve his fitness ahead of Rome and the French Open.

For Félix Auger-Aliassime, this is a huge opportunity. After benefiting from Mensik's withdrawal in the third round (6-1, 1-0 ab.), he finds himself in the semi-finals without having to play his quarter-final. After a great match against Ruud, the Canadian is now directly qualified for the semi-finals, where he could meet Daniil Medvedev.

In the ATP rankings, things could also change. Indeed, with Carlos Alcaraz's defeat on Wednesday (to Rublev 4-6, 6-3, 6-2), Daniil Medvedev could make his return to the world's top 3, at the Spaniard's expense. To do so, the Russian must first beat Lehecka, who defeated Nadal on Tuesday.

Jannik Sinner: "I'm very sad to have to withdraw for my next match in Madrid. My hip has been bothering me this week and has become increasingly painful. On the advice of the doctors, we decided it would be better not to continue playing and make the situation worse.

I'll be having further tests over the next few days and following the specialists' advice to get better."

Nole is right. Remember 2022. Rafa almost skipped RG because he was "injured", and still he won. 2020 is a similar scenario. So, Nole isn't trying anything, he is right with this

From tennis experts to Clairvoyants and psychologists. Wow, isn't that a progress! It's a blessing to know what other people think, even if don't have that ability. Looks that Novak lives in so many
