Zverev gets back on track against Tabilo in Rome!

Zverev gets back on track against Tabilo in Rome!

Alejandro Tabilo may well have big regrets at the end of this match. After a high-quality match in which he hurt his opponent, the Chilean lacked the energy at the end of the second act to reach the final.

Losing his footing at the end of the second set, Tabilo showed himself to be a little more wait-and-see, getting into the rhythm of Alexander Zverev, who was able to tighten the screws at the best of times. Trailing 2-0 at tie-break, the German went on to win 7 of the last 9 points to come back (6-1, 6-7). Making almost no more errors and putting a lot of weight into his ball, the world number 5 quite rightly managed to snatch a final set.

With the crowd cheering him on at the end of the set, the momentum seems to have shifted slightly, and the Chilean will need to rediscover his early momentum if he is to book his place in the final. With his ball-striking far less incisive, the Chilean seems to have left the tactical keys of the game to his opponent. If he's to win, he'll have to get them back.

Everything remains to be done on the Central court in Rome!

He needs more variety in his play in my opinion, all I see him do is hit hard and when that doesn't work he gets mad with himself.

Maybe.....everything is possible. Who knows which Novak will show up on court. The only thing that we can be 100% sure .......The GOAT will still remain The GOAT, regardless of this match outcome.
