Djoko is known for his accomplishments as one of the best human backboards going around and he is equally known for his frequent behaviourial issues with any loss (eg abandoning his Oympics mixed doubles partner because he spat his dummy) and some strange left-field ideas. He is also best known for avoiding paying little or no taxes to his beloved country.
@Milutin........I don't hate Novak, as that is an emotion I wouldn't waste on Novak....I admit that as a player, I dislike him as I never have liked his attitude on court.
I watched the whole of the match, I don't recall of the constant replaying showing of his outburst of when he smashed his racquet like a spoiled child, which as I've already stated doesn't set a very good example to any upcoming young players.
Maybe you were watching a different broadcaster, but as I'm sure only one stream of live TV is available for broadcast, albeit with different commentary teams depending on the country its streaming to.
@Sane Did you see that Alcaraz also hit the net with a racquet in front of the umpire. It wasn't hard as Novak's hit but it was also a hit. BUT he didn't get any warning. TV skipped that Alcaraz move everytime, it wasn't showed even once. On the other hand, Nole's hit was showing ALL THE TIME. On every pause between points. It's just that west and media hate Serbian and always found a way to be against him. That happened again. You cannot see that because you hate him as well and you cannot see the other side
Milutin......Hold on let me get a handkerchief, to dry my tears 😭
Perhaps if Novak hadn't smashed his 🎾 against the net post, which really sets a good example (not) to the young players, who are upcoming in the sport, he'd have a bit more support. 🤔
The crowd on that match was very very negative. I can only imagine how hard it was for you to fight for points if whole stadium is against you. You lose motivation, will to win. He won two sets in mat h with that crowd, it is more than anyone would do. If Rafa and Roger had this crowd in their career, they would both have less than 10 GS titles.
'Gracious' such as smashing his racket into the net post in set 5 when he was losing. Such wonderful manner and sportsmanship from Djoko. Yet another example why he does not feel the love he desperately craves from crowds that Roger and Rafa always received.
Be in his shoes for one day and you would see how "easy" his accomplishments are.
None of you made anything close in your own personal lives of this magnitude.
So, sit down and keep on typing meaningless comments.
