Bad mouth rafa is stupid. As for booing!!! Crowds have never booed any that retired in the 4th set. As hard as he works and the testimony of his work ethic by his peers, sportscasters and all those who know Rafa would say you are full of CRAP. No one has a reputation as good as he has for doing his best. Anyone could see his pain. Stupid comments

Cilic was the better man. If Nadal stood closer to receiving he would've struggled even more. Age is catching up

While we sympathise with Nadal on his mishap, we shouldn't let it overshadows Marin Chilic outstanding performance. Congrats Chilic and cheers to you. Well fought and a stellar performance!!!

I totally forgot about the Stan issue.

I just don't like his bad attitude. Very fake and aggressive is little Nicky

Nick is getting buried all the time for his wawrinka girlfriends remark. They won't let it go

I like rafa but he was down 0-2 in 5th and immediately walks over and shakes the umpire hand and quit. Trust me if it was someone else they will get booed by the crowd

The funny thing is if nick kyrgious did what rafa did, everyone will call him a quitter and start blasting him.

He stood so far back receiving serves and Cilic knew that and made Nadal run all over. So Nadal kept running and running...

Injury can hpnd any moment lots of time injured players retiered when they lead in match bcz they nt able to finish the match n if a player 6-0 5-0 down n then other player said he cant play then also he is a winner if u cant finish a match then no matter u r ahead or behind

After the 3rd set he was perfectly fine. With his back against the was now he is suddenly injured. 4-1 down in the 4th set. If he was 4-1 ahead I wonder if he would stop the match.

Are these people who say he didn't get injured stupid or just haters or trolls. He doesn't quit easily and has come back from match point many times no one knows who would have won and I hate to see any player have to retire.

Fit or Injured, Clearly Nadal wouldnt win today even if he was Fit.

As usualy, his Fans always bring out 'Injury card' when he loses.

Respect to him. But really he doesnt deserve to be number 1.
